Jessica Brim is a Roanoke Valley native, where she graduated from Cave Spring High. Jessica joined the United States Coast Guard, where she spent four years of active service and four years of reserve service as a Corpsman and EMT-B, caring for active duty and retired veterans. As a reservist, she attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences downtown Roanoke where she completed a Bachelors in Health Sciences. Jessica worked at Lewis Gale Hospital as an RN on the PCU for three years. During that time, she completed studies for an M.S. in Nursing-Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Jessica joined Jefferson Internal Medicine in 2014 as a Nurse Practitioner, where she studied under Dr. Lawrence Monahan and Dr. Charles Peterson. Jessica is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified in Adult-Gerontology practice through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Today, Jessica enjoys providing care for her patients and spending time with her precious daughter.
